What To Expect

Waukee Baptist Church is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services!

Our services are about one hour in length. We will sing, have some announcements, hear the bible taught, take up the offering, and pray. Sometimes in that order.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What time does the service start?

Our worship service starts at 10:30 a.m. It usually lasts about an hour.

Is there Bible study?

Yes. On Sunday mornings we have Bible study for all ages at 9:30.

Is there a dress code?

Most of us dress casually. We hope you would be comfortable whether you come in jeans and a t-shirt or in business dress.

Where do I park?

We have several guest parking spaces near the front entrance. We also have overflow parking at the daycare center next door.

What about my children?

There is a nursery provided for the young ones. We also have age graded Bible study for the older children and youth at 9:30. Our older children and youth attend the worship service with the adults.

What kind of music do you sing?

Our music is pretty simple, accompanied by either piano or guitar (and occasionally a ukelele!). We sing a mixture of hymns and contemporary Christian music. Our congregation likes a variety of styles.
